Built by young people, for young people.
We started Psylume because too many of us were figuring out our mental health alone. Here's what guides the work.
Our Story
Psylume began as a handful of students trading notes on burnout and anxiety between classes. What started as a small peer-support chat grew into a registered youth-led organisation, now made up of volunteers across schools and universities who build the resources they wished they'd had.
Our Mission
To make mental health education genuinely accessible — free of jargon, stigma, and gatekeeping — so every young person has the language and tools to understand what they're feeling and where to turn next.
Our Vision
A generation that talks about mental health as openly as physical health — where asking for help is unremarkable, and support is never more than a conversation away.
Empathy first
We listen before we advise, and every resource starts from lived experience.
Openness
No topic is too heavy to name. Honest conversation is how stigma loses power.
Community
Nobody works through this alone — belonging is part of the healing.
Integrity
We share what's evidence-informed, credit our sources, and know our limits.
